During the first quarter of 2022, the top five photo and video applications on iOS in Ukraine demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream maintained a robust presence with weekly revenue fluctuating between $127K and $179K. Notably, the highest revenue was observed in the week of January 10. Weekly downloads saw a downward trend initially, dropping from 52K to 18K by late February, before recovering to approximately 23K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 5.7M throughout the quarter.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor showed a decline in weekly revenue from $33K at the start of the quarter to around $15K by the end of March. Downloads also decreased, starting at 6.2K and ending at about 2.6K. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 29K to approximately 19K.

InStories Reels & Story Maker experienced a peak in weekly revenue in mid-January with $17K, but this declined sharply to about $4K by the end of March. Downloads saw a significant drop from about 8K in early January to roughly 400 by the last week of March. Active users also dipped, starting at 9.2K and plummeting to around 6.3K by quarter's end.

Facetune AI Photo/Video Editor had a peak in weekly revenue of $16K in early January, which then tapered off to around $5.8K by the end of the quarter. Downloads decreased from 6.9K to approximately 2.8K. Active users saw a decline from 28K at the beginning of the quarter to around 21K by the end of March.

Google Photos: Backup & Edit showed a stable weekly revenue, peaking at $12K at the end of February. Downloads started at 13K and saw a low of about 3.4K in late February, before rising to around 6.5K by the end of March. Active users remained steady, averaging around 170K throughout the quarter.
